The Melting of Glacier Can Release Carcinogenic Substances Empty The Melting of Glacier Can Release Carcinogenic Substances

It is known to all that the climate at present is rather changeable all over the world. The temperature is also increased constantly. Many people are puzzled by the climate changes. According to the scientific research, the climate changes keep a close relationship with the artificial toxins called “organic pollutants”. The scientists have warned that the melting of glacier has been releasing carcinogenic substances to the air and oceans. These carcinogenic substances can enter the food chain and the human body to increase the rate of getting diseases, such as tumor, heart disease and barrenness. It can be said that the glacier melting can seriously affect the normal life of people and threaten the physical health of the human body.

The latest research proves that the increasing temperature and changeable climates can increase the dangers for people to touch the pollutants. The organic pollutants refer to the natural organic substances and artificial organic substances in the form of carbohydrates, protein, amino acid and fat. The organic pollutants include various kinds of dangerous substances like formaldehyde and benzene. They can survive in the environment for many years and can even be accumulated inside the human body. Therefore, people should keep away from the pollutants like pesticide and chemical substances in the electronic products.

According to the experts, the melting of glacier and the extreme weather can both release organic pollutants to the air and oceans. For example, the flood in Pakistan can release the pollutants which have been accumulated for many years. Pollution is a serious problem for the whole world to deal with. Many years ago, the pollutants were stored in the glacier. However, because of the increasing temperature, the melting of glacier begins to bring the pollutants back to the human beings. Although there are only a few organic pollutants to enter the food chain, it can be guesses that more and more pollutants will enter the food chain in the future. These pollutants can even further enter the human body to pollute blood and breast milk. According to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the chemical pollutants will be released more and more rapidly with the frequent occurrence of tropical depression and flood. In addition, the animals like seal and whale will be easily attacked by the chemical pollution. In order to alleviate the situation, the human beings should follow a kind of sustainable development model to improve the extreme accidents caused by the improper development.
