The Magnesium,bromo(cyclohexylmethyl)-, with the CAS registry number of 35166-78-0, is also known as Cyclohexylmethylmagnesiumbrom. It belongs to the product categories of Alkyl; Grignard Reagents; Organometallic Reagents. Its molecular formula is C7H13BrMg and molecular weight is 201.39. What's more, its systematic name is Bromo-(cyclohexylmethyl)magnesium.

Uses: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce 5-Cyclohexylmethyl-3-isopropyl-4-nitro-biphenyl. This reaction needs reagent DDQ. Meanwhile, it needs solvent Tetrahydrofuran. The reaction time is 90 min with reaction temperature of 20 °C. The yield is about 51 %.
